In my effort to absorb and apply the concepts learned in MGMT 7160 Global Strategic Management, I will be posting weekly a critique of the company of my choice. I have chosen to take a look at the company, Monsanto. From the Who We Are section of their company site, "Monsanto is a sustainable agriculture company." They provide GM (genetically modified) seeds to optimize agricultural growth. I find this interesting for a few reasons. 1. I have an educational background in and also thoroughly enjoy Chemistry and Biology. 2. I grew up in a rural town where farming is life. 3. They suffer huge scrutiny.
